Veteran's Day

But fame is theirs - and future days;
On pillar'd brass shall tell their praise;
Shall tell - when cold neglect is dead -
"These for their country fought and bled."
-Philip Freneau

Even if you disagree with war or the reasons for it, believe in the people who have fought in it. Thank a veteran for their service to our country today.
Thank them for putting their lives on the line when they were called upon to bear arms.
Thank them for their courage.
Thank them for making this the land of the free and home of the brave.

And always rememeber that freedom is never free.

Thank you for your service.

The Meaning of "Malapropos"

Time for a little English lesson.

Dictionary.com defines "malapropos" as:
ADJ. inappropriate; out of place; inopportune; untimely

Merriam-Webster's definition isn't as fun and states:
ADJ. in an inappropriate or inopportune way

Malapropos is derived from the word Malapropism, which means:
the usually unintentionally humorous misuse or distortion of a word or phrase; especially : the use of a word sounding somewhat like the one intended but ludicrously wrong in the context.

Needless to say I thought the word fit perfectly for my present life.

My name is Mal.
My life is always full of awkward, crazy adventures and ridiculous fun times!
Stay tuned for more updates later.
